Job Description

This is an entry-level position for a Linux Systems Administrator. Requires a bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and experience, plus at least one year of experience as a UNIX systems administrator. Requires ability to demonstrate practical UNIX/Linux systems skills. Experience working with development project teams is preferred; Windows system administration and services experience is a plus. Programming in C, Perl, MySQL, PHP, and other scripting languages is desired. Familiarity with the i386 and x64 hardware platform, Linux-based / Microsoft Windows workstations and servers, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and network devices (including Layer 4 switching) and their associated operating systems is preferred, along with experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices. This position has great learning potential as well as good potential for advancement.
